And er, since when was it a deep dark secret that Mary & Joseph had kids? And they wouldn't technically be related to Jesus anyway. And the Bible never said that Jesus & the apostles were white, only artists and clergy ever did.
I'm all for the perversion of scripture, but this was like . . . fake perversion. And it wasn't even the *good* kind of perversion, like with Jesus screwing Judas or angelic orgies or demonic tempters or other such lovelies.
Awww, okay. <3 Admittedly it was probably the first deconstruction of scripture I was ever exposed to and I may have latched onto it because of that, but truthfully, I like the patches of rhetoric involved. Specifically Loki's.
