Drabble 12 - LexClark - "Honesty"
So I finally got off (or rather on , I suppose . . .) my lazy butt and typed out three more of my drabbles. Well, four actually, but I trashed the Valjean/Javert one.

Honesty
When I ask you how you pulled us up, you say, “Adrenaline.”
You’re always hiding things, Clark, even from Lana, and yet you say you love her. Maybe that’s why I don’t mind so much when you do it to me.
You came back for my sake. When your friends and crush were in danger, you sat by meekly and didn’t protest; when it was just me, you came to the rescue. That has to mean something.
Tonight I feel as though I’m special to you, so – just this once, mind – I’ll believe that you’re telling me the truth.
