Glass [G - D/Leon - Petshop]
Doesn't really fit
cheloya's prompt anymore, but originated as a response to "take my kiss."
Title: Glass
Fandom: PSoH
Pairing/Characters: D/Leon
Rating: G
Words: 135
FF100 Prompt: #020 - Colourless (table)
Notes/Summary: A thing that is broken is not necessarily without value.
Chris is a child - young, energetic, and lacking any real hand-eye co-ordination. He spends almost every hour of every day running around the pet shop. Leon is a grown man, and a detective whose hand-eye co-ordination is presumably good enough for the precinct to allow him a firearm. He stops by the pet shop for an hour or so most days to see Chris, drink tea, and occasionally interrogate D about some crime or another.
Chris has only ever broken a single teacup. Leon breaks something at least once every two weeks.
One day, Leon brings D a glass figurine of a tiger in mid-leap. It is not particularly expensive or well-made, and Leon knocks it off the table soon after he sets it down.
D keeps the shards.
end.
R&R, please
