The canaries perched on the towel rack provided a bit of nice music. They weren’t so bad.
The hamster sitting on the toilet seat was kind of cute, although he was somewhat disturbed by the way its beady little eyes watched him.
And he could deal with the snake, really, even though he wished it would unwind itself from the shower bar and go away.
It was the shadow of D’s dress-thing beneath the door, combined with the large, antique keyhole above the doorknob that creeped him out. He washed quickly and did his best to ignore the occasional giggle.
