Summary: D puts up with a lot, but he won't put up with this. Well, the second part is true anyways.




D wrinkled his nose.

“You smell bad,” he said, “You’ll upset the animals.”

Leon scowled and propped his feet on the ornate wooden table.

“I just came off a triple; I’m tired and I don’t want to hear any of your bitching.” He cringed the instant he said it, waiting for the inevitable flying teacups and temper tantrum.

The moment came and passed. Leon ventured a glance at D. The count’s face was tight and dark, but he seemed to be restraining himself from breaking any china. So far.

“If you find it so intolerable here, then you may take your self and your odours elsewhere.”

“Aww, D, come on! I’m hungry and my apartment is half an hour away!” Never mind that in point of fact, his apartment was closer to the station than the pet shop was.

D produced a towel seemingly out of nowhere and held it out.

“Then shower,” he said, “Now.”
