Virtu

Read Virtu today.

Oh my god. Way, WAY, better than the first. Right from the very beginning it had me, and right now my main thought is "Gah! Chapters is closed now! Must wait until tomorrow for sequel! (T_T)"

I feel so bad for Mildmay, no more cat-burglaring. And he was so good at it!

And oh my, but isn't that spell a delightfully twisted influence on their relationship? There's just no good way to resolve things slashily. ^_^ It's safe to say that my kink button has been thoroughly pushed.

Really nice to have Felix sane the whole way through, though he is a bit of a bastard.

Overall impressions? The writing was a lot tighter, the plot better paced, and I could not put it down even to go to the washroom, so I took it with me. TMI, I know, but it was just that good.

*dances off in fangirlish glee*

OH GOD I DON'T KNOW I AM KIND OF REC'D OUT AFTER DOCTRINE OF LABYRINTHS. ER. AH. >_> Have you read Robin Hobb's books yet? They are my favourite books in the world. Except for Good Omens. And they may take a beating from Doctrine of Labyrinths depending on how the series ends. Also there are nine of them so far and they will keep you occupied for longer. XD

Start with Assassin's Apprentice and see how you go. >_>

And no, there is no good way to resolve things slashily in that series and fhdjfhdjhfsjkhfjd it is all so infuriating. And I want to choke Felix about as often as I want to hug him and tell him it is all all right.

Um. Urg. Not really a fan of her stuff. Sorry?

And I want to choke Felix about as often as I want to hug him and tell him it is all all right.
Oh, I am SO with you. *nodnod*

Which stuff have you read? Because if you have read that awful new series with bloody Nevare Whoever, then I do not blame you.

If you don't like Fitz, though, darling, then you've simply not persisted long enough to meet the Fool. Who is the best character ever in the entire world, ever. EVER. EVER.

Ahem.
