Drabble 01 - InuKai - "Premature"

So here's yesterday's drabble. I'll probably be posting them all the day after, since I write in bed before I go to sleep.

Title: Premature
Fandom: Prince of Tennis
Pairing: Inui x Kaidoh
Warnings: Shounen-ai (well, duh.)
Length: 100 words, exactly.


Premature


It isn’t logical, thought Inui.
On Monday, Inui took notes while Kaidoh trained.

Does everything need to be? he wondered.
On Tuesday, Inui smiled, just a little, when his eyes followed the younger boy. Kaidoh ignored the burning gaze.

Maybe, Inui considered, data isn’t really essential.
On Wednesday, Inui asked if Kaidoh wanted ice-cream. Kaidoh blushed, but nodded his head.

No more probabilities, he decided.
On Thursday, Inui leaned over and tenderly kissed the other. Kaidoh recoiled, pushing his senpai away.

Stupid to forget the importance of statistics.
On Friday, Inui did not go to the river. Kaidoh practiced alone.
