Random InuKai Nano moment

I was rereading a section from EARLY this morning, when I found this interesting and very random sentence. It was stuck in the middle of a whole bunch of vaguely normal stuff (as normal as anything written at 4:30am for nano can be) and it just seemed to pop out of nowhere. No idea how; the only corollation to the actual scene was the fact that they were eating soup.

Beware the InuKai weirdness.
