writerinadrawer 1x01. Ianto's new job comes with duties it shouldn't. A little bit on the dark side.
Prompts: First time, green.
It was seven o’clock in the morning and the Captain’s office was splattered with blood. The walls were green beneath the red.
Ianto wondered dizzily if the Captain killed himself often. This wasn’t in his contract.
Hospital gowns were green to cut the intensity of the blood. Opposite colours. It was supposed to make the sight less real, less nauseating.
He wondered if the walls were green on purpose. He wondered if he should paint the basement green.
It had been twenty-two days since Ianto walked out of Torchwood One for the final time.
Ianto deleted the the CCTV video files from 0315 to 0800 and replaced them with stock recordings. A sip of water sent coffee churning cold in his stomach and he vomited into the wastebin. He wondered if the Captain always got up again.
That afternoon, he painted the walls white.
