Sea-Wind and Incense (D x Leon) un-cut version
This is the un-cut version.
100 word version here.
Title: Sea-Wind and Incense
Fandom: Petshop of Horrors
Pairing: D/Leon
Rating: PG
Warnings: Slash
FF100: Smell
The smell of the sea-wind mingled with the incense laced through D’s hair when, moments before midnight, he suddenly swung forward, pulling Leon into an embrace.
“Please,” he murmured, “you won’t remember in any case . . .”
Leon’s confusion was cut short by the clumsy, demanding press of D’s lips to his. He opened his mouth – to protest? – and D’s tongue was inside him, gently but with a desperation that was so unlike the Count that Leon was shocked into stillness and could not fight it.
Then the kiss ended and D was trembling in his arms, and his nails were sharp against his bare skin. Leon held him close, thinking I don’t want to forget this, but it was midnight already and he looked down at D in confusion.
“Oh, Mr. Detective!” the Count exclaimed, “How kind of you to catch me when I tripped.” Leon nodded dazedly, and if he noticed that D’s exuberance was a little forced, then at least he didn’t say anything.
* * *
Later, the smell of sea-wind and incense would be recalled to him, and he would wonder at the whispers in the back of his mind.
