Summary: Legolas resents Galadriel's hold over Gimli.

Strange, is it not? It was your fine words to the Lady of the Woods that first endeared you to me. I had never believed a dwarf could be so entranced by elvish beauty. I had thought you coarse, uncouth; unable to recognized loveliness not crafted by the hands of a smith. After Lothlorien, it was easy to love you.

Now I watch you form the casing for her gift and my heart is filled with bitterness. You will treasure it above the finest mithril, those three golden strands of hair, says the light in your eyes.

I hate her.
